Executive teaching
I am the founder and co-director of the Impact Lab Amsterdam, where we conduct research on extraordinary charitable impact through two complementary approaches: 1. Evaluating charitable interventions with the potential for 100x greater effectiveness than average charities in the cause area. 2. Studying what motivates donors to give more to the most effective charities, seeking to understand the psychological and economic drivers behind impactful philanthropy. ​This dual focus creates a multiplier effect by identifying exceptional initiatives while motivating donors to support them. The lab primarily concentrates on addressing critical issues in global health, extreme poverty, and gender equality in low-income countries, where evidence suggests the potential for transformative impact is large.​
